Renuva is a revolutionary new injectable treatment that naturally builds volume in the face (and body). Unlike traditional facial fillers like Juvéderm (which utilize synthetic versions of hyaluronic acid to create volume), Renuva uses actual, 100% natural, grafted fat tissue that is transferred into the patient’s existing fat tissue to build volume.

Renuva can be used to add volume anywhere in the face that naturally has fat cells, including the cheeks, nasolabial folds (marionette line), chin, jawline, and temples. How Renuva Works

Renuva is a natural, non-synthetic process, because it uses fat tissues that comes from donors, which has been tested, screened and sterilized – in accordance with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s requirements for donor tissue. This process is called an “allograft”.

Board certified plastic surgeon Dr. Ali or one of our skilled nurse injectors will inject small amounts of Renuva allograft fat tissue into your existing fat tissue, in areas that need to be filled or smoothed. Once transplanted into your body, the Renuva® forms a type of cellular “matrix” – which acts as a scaffolding system that your body uses on which to build and regenerate tissue.

As your own body builds living cells on this “scaffolding,” the end result is improved skin tone, texture, volume, and appearance!

Renuva® injections are a fast procedure that can typically be performed in less than an hour, depending on the location and size of treatment areas.

Renuva is an excellent, non-surgical alternative to using liposuction to extract and collect your own body’s fat for re-injection. And, since Renuva® uses donor fat tissue, it is a less invasive procedure than liposuction and other transplant procedures that harvest fat from your own body.

Common, minor possible side effects of Renuva® can include discomfort during injections and/or some redness or swelling. An anesthetic will be administered by Dr. Ali, however, to minimize any pain during the injections. Allergic reactions and infections are extremely rare when injections are performed by a board certified plastic surgeon or nurse injector.

One of the best things about Renuva® injections, is that results can be seen immediately. Once the fat is injected into your body, your skin will look fuller and feel firmer right away.
