Do You Offer a Thermismooth® Consultation?

Absolutely! During your ThermiSmooth® consultation Birmingham plastic surgeon Dr. Ali or his medical anesthesiologist Our Aestheticians will thoroughly review your medical and surgical history. They will discuss your aesthetic goals, and answer all your questions.

Potential alternative treatments or additional anti-aging treatments will also be reviewed with you in detail, to ensure you are choosing the best antiaging procedures for your skin care needs.

How many ThermiSmooth® treatments will I need?

You will see results from your first ThermiSmooth® application. Subsequent treatments are repeated until you achieve the complete, desired aesthetic result.

The number of treatments you will need will depend upon the condition of your skin – including the depth of the lines and the laxity of the skin tone.

Typically a series of three to six applications is recommended in order to achieve optimal results. However, three treatments is the average to achieve the optimal effect.

How soon will I see results with ThermiSmooth®?

Most patients see some improvement after just the first ThermiSmooth® treatment.

With additional treatments, even more dramatic results are achieved. Full results develop over 3 to 6 months as the new collagen is produced by your body.

Can eyes be treated with ThermiSmooth®?

Yes! ThermiSmooth® accomplishes excellent results in treating “hooded” eyelids.

In fact ThermiSmooth® is a great non-surgical alternative to traditional upper blepharoplasty (eyelid lift surgery). Another of the most popular applications for ThermiSmooth® is to address excess, loose skin and wrinkling in the lower eyelids, as well as crows’ feet around the eyes.

Does ThermiSmooth® hurt?

Absolutely NOT! Treatments with ThermiSmooth® are quite comfortable and feel like a warm massage!

Is there any preparation needed for ThermiSmooth?

None. Other than taking off your jewelry, removing makeup from the area to be treated, and sanitizing the skin, there is no preparation for ThermiSmooth®.  There are also no post procedure instructions or steps.
