DiamondGlow – Newer and Better than DermalInfusion
For many years, dermalinfusion was one of the most popular skin rejuvenating and perfecting procedures – because it combined three effective skin care treatments into one process. This innovative, non-invasive treatment simultaneously combines exfoliation, extraction and serum infusion into a one-step skin resurfacing procedure. The infusion serums are medical strength, and are specifically formulated for each unique skin condition.
Dermalinfusion treatments provided many benefits by nourishing the skin, promoting renewed skin cell growth, and eliminating impurities imbedded in the pores. This mega-exfoliant also encourages the body to produce more collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid – to repaid skin texture and tone.
Diamond Glow: Improves Dermalinfusion
Like any medical technology today, improvements in technology are continually being made. Because dermalinfusion was so popular, it caught the attention of Allegan Aesthetics – the world-leader in cosmetic procedures. In fact, Allergan makes Botox, the world’s most popular cosmetic treatment!
Allergan Aesthetics acquired the rights to the dermalinfusion process, and changed the name to “Diamond Glow” after improving upon this already revolutionary skincare treatment.
At AMAE Med Spa we are proud to offer new and improved DiamondGlow™ next-level, noninvasive skin-resurfacing treatments, to deliver radiant, healthy-looking skin. You can see Before & After photos of this revolutionary skin rejuvenation treatment HERE.
What Skin Conditions Does DiamondGlow (Dermalinfusion) Treat?
DiamondGlow (Dermalinfusion) offers different SkinMedica® Pro-Infusion serums. Each formula targets specific different skin concerns, and can be chosen and customized according to the patient’s unique skin condition and aesthetic concerns.
DiamondGlow (Dermalinfusion) is ideal for treating the signs of aging including: fine lines, wrinkles, sun damage and age spots. DiamondGlow can also treat other causes of hyperpigmentation and dark spots, as well as improving rough skin texture on the face or anywhere on the body.
Different Pro-Infusion formulations are also available to treat both dry & dehydrated skin, as well as oily skin & clogged pores. And, DiamondGlow (Dermalinfusion) is one of the few skincare treatments that can be performed during the active stages of acne.
On the body, DiamondGlow (Dermalinfusion) can be highly effective at reducing the appearance cellulite as well as diminishing the visibility of stretch marks.
Does DiamondGlow (Dermalinfusion) hurt?
No! A DiamondGlow (Dermalinfusion) treatment produces a massaging, warm, comforting sensation. The neck and mouth area can sometimes sense something like popping candy in the mouth, but causes no discomfort.
What is the DiamondGlow (Dermalinfusion) recovery process like?
Because DiamondGlow (Dermalinfusion) has no side effects, there is no downtime. While skin may temporarily appear red or flushed immediately after the treatment, people can go back to work or their daily activities after the procedure. DiamondGlow (Dermalinfusion) makes skin more sensitive to UV rays, so wearing SPF sunscreen is necessary.
How does DiamondGlow (Dermalinfusion) differ from Microdermabrasion?
Dermalinfusion and microdermabrasion both utilize a process to remove the upper layer of skin. The microdermabrasion process utilizes devices that are manually controlled by hand, with pressure and speed left up to the skincare professional. The innovative Dermalinfusion process, however, offers a pre-set, controlled & consistent, vacuum pressure that pulls the skin up into a chamber in the hand piece.
Microdermabrasion exfoliates the skin. Exfoliation is just one of the steps of DiamondGlow (Dermalinfusion), which also “extracts” oil, sebum and dirt from the pores with its proprietary vacuuming technology. Additionally during dermalinfusion, a condition-specific serum is infused deep into the skin where it stimulates and promotes regeneration of the skin cells.
How many DiamondGlow (Dermalinfusion) treatments are required to see results?
You will see results after your first treatment. Depending upon the type and severity of your skin condition, a series of 3 to 6 DiamondGlow (Dermalinfusion) treatments may be recommended for best results. For most clients, treatments are scheduled every other week.
Who should get DiamondGlow (Dermalinfusion)?
Anyone concerned with aging, wrinkling, discoloration or acne scarring will benefit from DiamondGlow (Dermalinfusion). It is safe for all skin types, tones and colors. And, even better, there is no downtime after DiamondGlow (Dermalinfusion) skin rejuvenation.
