What is computerized skin imaging?
Computerized skin imaging is a non-invasive technology that enables your skin care provider to analyze the skin on your face and neck.

Are there different types of computerized skin imaging?

What is the difference between Vectra 3D Skin Imaging and VISIA Skin & Complexion Analysis?
VISIA uses cross-polarized and UV computerized image capture with automatic skin type classification, refined facial feature detection, and eight types of quantitative skin analysis. It measure age spots, wrinkles, texture, pores, UV spots, brown spots, red areas, melanin (pigment), blood vessels and porphyrins (a substance in the body that causes changes in skin color).
VISIA measures and record the surface and sub-surface conditions of the patient’s skin, and delivers a comprehensive report – so Dr. Ali can recommend the best skin care treatments and products based on the findings of the skin analysis.
Vectra 3D skin imaging can show side-by-side comparisons of the the “before and after” views of your face and neck. It can also superimposes your expected results over an image of your pre-procedure face. Vectra skin imaging can even show you the anticipated outcome of combining multiple procedures.
