What to Expect After Botox
Botox injections are one of the most popular aesthetic procedures because the results are excellent, there is little to no downtime, and when done properly the side effects are nearly non-existent. Still, many people have questions or even reservations about Botox.
In this article Doctor Ali explains what to expect after getting Botox, to put your mind at ease, and to ensure the best possible results!

Steps to Take After Getting Botox
Avoid putting on makeup, washing your hair, or exercising for several hours – or a full day – after getting Botox. Try not to lie down for the rest of the day of your injections. And whatever you do, DO NOT mess with the injected zones.
Any or all of these activities can have the ill effects of spreading the toxin into muscles and/or weakening the Botox injection.
Do not fly for a few days after getting Botox, as well. This is because there is some concern that changes in cabin pressure can cause the spread of the Botox into muscles that you do not want affected.

Bruising after Botox can be Undone
Botox only requires a very fine needles so many men and women do not experience any bruising at the injection site. However, any injection can potentially hit a blood vessel, causing a small bruise.
Fortunately, these bruises disappear quickly, because the injections are made into a very superficial area of the skin. If you are one of the few who experience bruising that is troubling, vascular laser treatment can be used to break down the pooled blood into smaller particles, and greatly diminish bruises within 24 hours.

Don’t worry about the “Botox Buzz”
It is perfectly normal for Botox given between the eyebrows to cause a temporary sensation of dizziness or headache. This is caused by the slight swelling in the area from the fluid that is injected.
This is a very temporary condition, and usually resolves within ten to 15 minutes, as the fluid is absorbed into the body.
