It can also be used to safely and effectively treat darker skin types – including African-American, Asian, and Latin – without causing scarring or hyperpigmentation.

Is there downtime with Obagi Blue Chemical Peel?

No! The peeling from Blue Radiance is a very light – and in some cases, the peel is virtually invisible! The small amount of peeling can be easily hidden by moisturizer lotion.

This mild peeling usually starts around the 2^nd or 3^rd day after your peel, and is completely healed within a week.

The most important thing to remember is to wear non-chemical sun protection of an SPF 35 or higher at all times after a peel. We will provide you with after-care instructions and products following your peel to help you care for your skin appropriately.

How many Obagi Blue Chemical Peels do I need?

After just a single Obagi Blue Chemical Peel your skin will be dramatically brighter, tighter, and smoother. In most cases, maximum results can be achieved with a series of 4 to 6 peels.

These chemical peel can be repeated as often as every two weeks. Our medical skin care experts will assess how many peels will be needed in your case to give you the optimal results.
